3-Minute Thesis is a competition where one presents their research work in the format of a three minute elevator pitch with only a single static slide to show. Started by Queensland University, 3MT has quickly gained popularity to become an annual feature among graduate schools nationwide.
I participated in the 3MT competition organized by the graduate school of Wichita State University and presented my work so far on ‘Valuing of DERs’. I was adjudged runner-up at the end of the competition. The winner, Sangar, who is also affiliated to Center for Energy Studies, will receive an opportunity to represent WSU at the national level 3MT competition scheduled next year.
